"Prayer is Man talking to God, while Meditation is God talking to Man. In the states of prayer, you cry out to God. In the states of meditation, God answers those prayers. This may seem contradictory to some, but if you would examine the statement, then you will know that as you pray for something, it is instantly given. As it is meditated upon, it is instantly received."

The Lord’s Prayer should be used in every meditation, as it quickens all of the centers and stimulates a balanced flow through the whole system. Our desire is to awaken the whole, rather than concentrate on opening any single center, which would lend to imbalance. The order of the prayer is significant in that it attempts to awaken the higher chakras before awakening the lower ones.Keep a higher ideal, a higher purpose, a right heart and the consciousness focused on the higher centers, then draw the Kundalini upward.

There is no substitute and never will be for attuning within yourself to the Source of self. There is too great a willingness among you to depend upon others for guidance, thus giving up the responsibility within yourself for discovering truth. There is no way to substitute your own responsibility for knowing the Source of self, that is ever, always within you.

You will only recognise the harmony in another’s words and in their teachings by developing that ability to listen within to harmony, within the Source of yourself. Through turning within, through meditation, through taking responsibility for making discoveries within the self rather than fanciful entertainments with images and ideas and the worship of a guru or teacher or such.

Go beyond that to the discovery of inspiration within yourself and then when you hear, recognise, feel that harmony of another speaking from that Source, so the spirit within you will recognise the spirit in that one. But recognition comes only when you separate those impulses of the senses and the appetites, the appeal to ego, the appeal to drama and such.

Look rather for that within you that makes a demand upon you that you order your life, your thoughts, in harmony with those about. That force within you that causes an impulse to love, and accept, and support that impulse within you, that causes a love without requirement on others that they change or meet your expectations or belief systems, that within you that gives an ability to discover an element which can be loved in the heart of others however dark they may be in their actions or expressions.

Look for the Source of harmony and love within yourself. Develop that as if it were a tiny spark at first and then a glowing light, so that you can depend upon that in yourself which causes change ever within you, change toward harmony, change toward understanding of the self.

There is no other way than the discovery, the evolution of consciousness within yourself to serve the Source. It is not through serving others, not through becoming a part of a band or group or cult, but rather through the highest development of your own consciousness that you lift the evolution of consciousness of the entire planet.

One person on this planet attuning perfectly to the Source will lift the consciousness of all others on this place a little closer to the Source. Then make that your responsibility.
