You are surrounded by many wonderful people,
things and experiences in life. Why not
concentrate on them and give thanks for
them, letting go and releasing all that is
unpleasant, unhappy or difficult? By your
attitude and outlook you draw to you the
very best or the very worst in life. Therefore,
if you are blaming your circumstances, life or
people for your misfortunes, look within to see
what you can do to change your attitude. As
you start doing it, little by little you will find
changes taking place, and you will begin to
realise how mightily blessed you are and how
truly wonderful life is. What a joy and a privilege
it is to be alive, to be where you are, doing what
you are doing, surrounded by so many wonderful
things and people.Start right now looking for them.
They are right there, so you will not have to look very far."

Sixth Brotherhood Test - Love Divine

In all the land there was no place more grandly furnished than the Beauty Parlors of the Temple of the Sun.

²Few students ever entered these rich rooms; the priests re­garded them with awe, and called them Halls of Mysteries.

³When Jesus had attained the victory over fear, he gained the right to enter here.

⁴The guide led on the way, and after passing many richly furnished rooms they reached the Hall of Harmony; and here was Jesus left alone.

⁵Among the instruments of music was a harpsichord, and Jesus sat in thoughtful mood inspecting it, when, quietly, a maiden of en­trancing beauty came into the hall.

⁶She did not seem to notice Jesus as he sat and mused, so busy with his thoughts.

⁷She found her place beside the harpsichord; she touched the chords most gently, and she sung the songs of Israel.

⁸And Jesus was entranced; such beauty he had never seen; such music he had never heard.

⁹The maiden sung her songs; she did not seem to know that any one was near; she went her way

¹⁰And Jesus, talking with him­self, said out, “What is the meaning of this incident? I did not know that such entrancing beauty and such queen-like loveliness were ever found among the sons of men”.

^11”I did not know that voice of angel ever graced a human form, or that seraphic music ever came from human lips”.

¹²For days he sat entranced; the current of his thoughts was changed; he thought of nothing but the singer and her songs.

¹³He longed to see her once again; and after certain days she came; she spoke and laid her hand upon his head.

¹⁴Her touch thrilled all his soul, and for the time, forgotten was the work that he was sent to do.

¹⁵Few were the words the maiden said; she went her way; but then the heart of Jesus had been touched.

¹⁶A love-flame had been kin­dled in his soul, and he was brought to face the sorest trial of his life.

¹⁷He could not sleep nor eat. Thoughts of the maiden came; they would not go. His carnal nature called aloud for her companionship.

¹⁸And then he said, “Lo, I have conquered every foe that I have met, and shall I now be conquered by this carnal love?”

^19”My Father sent me here to show the power of love divine, that love that reaches every living thing.”

^20”Shall this pure, universal love be all absorbed by carnal love? Shall I forget all creatures else, and lose my life in this fair maiden, though she is the highest type of beauty, purity and love?”

²¹Into its very depths his soul was stirred, and long he wrestled with this angel-idol of his heart.

²²But when the day was almost lost, his higher ego rose in might; he found himself again, and then he said,

^23”Although my heart shall break I will not fail in this my hard­est task; I will be victor over carnal love.”

²⁴And when again the maiden came, and offered him her hand and heart, he said,

^25”Fair one, your very presence thrills me with delight; your voice is benediction to my soul; my human self would fly with you, and be con­tented in your love;”

^26”But all the world is craving for a love that I have come to mani­fest.”

^27”I must, then, bid you go; but we will meet again; our ways on earth will not be cast apart.”

^28”I see you in the hurrying throngs of earth as minister of love; I hear your voice in song, that wins the hearts of men to better things.”

²⁹And then in sorrow and in tears the maiden went away, and Jesus was again alone.

³⁰And instantly the great bells of the temple rang; the singers sung a new, new song; the grotto blazed with light.

³¹The hierophant himself ap­peared, and said, All hail! tri­umphant Logos, hail! The con­queror of carnal love stands on the heights.

³²And then he placed in Jesus’ hands a scroll on which was written LOVE DIVINE.

³³Together they passed from the grotto of the beautiful, and in the banquet hall a feast was served, and Jesus was the honored guest.

"For Love, Love alone can heal, does heal, and is the great healer. When you have so much Love, so much caring in your heart that you could extend your hand to another with your consciousness, more, much more involved and concerned with the other than with yourself, all the power that is yours, the Chi, the Qi, the Life Force, the Vitality that is in you will flow into that other, and to the extent that they are prepared to receive, they will be healed."

Allow the force of God to flow into you and fill you with His Presence and His Being. Allow your words to quite automatically be his words. So will your personality become one of strength, of wholeness, of confidence and of love. So you will begin to know yourself in a new way, having confidence in yourself, knowing that you are filled with love and with kindness and with power, a power over which evil has no effect and cannot befriend.

Know ye that all things that are not of God have an inability to affect that which is of God. And as you are filled with His Holiness, you become invulnerable to darkness, death, threat and evil. Then, may we offer this last simple prayer:

“I speak this day to the Highest, the Holiest and the Good in me. I speak to that in me that is capable of unconditional love, that in me that is capable of giving life. I say to you, ‘Please grow in me until I am filled with You.’ And reaching beyond that which I find in self, I reach to the source of all good in the Universe and I say, ‘I want to get to know You better. As Your Seed grows in me, I reach out to You to be filled with Your Divine Presence, and so become an incarnation of love alive, of life living, and of light shining in this world of darkness.’ And I pray that through my communion with the source of creativity, that we may become many candles about the earth creating one great Light that allows for the healing of our suffering Mother, the earth.

“We know that those who have attempted, in their hearts and in their ways, to commit deicide, those who have attempted to kill in the minds of men the Father God, have never succeeded. And those who attempted to crucify the son of God, only multiplied his presence. Now, we attempt to crucify the Mother, and in this attempt, we may come closer to accomplishing the death of an expression of God than we ever have in the past.

“Let us then as men, women and children of Earth, awaken to the need to soothe the skin of our Mother Earth, to bless her heart with our prayers and our caring, to clear the air which she must breathe of the toxins, that we may through prayer and listening find a way to eliminate from her breath. And may we live on Earth, not as parasites upon this great host being, which tolerates our presence and even provides for our needs, but rather than parasites, Lord, teach us a symbiotic relationship, that Earth may become fuller, stronger, manifest more completely, in a healthful, peaceful way, because we have lived gratefully upon her surface and placed ourselves deliberately into symbiotic relationship with our Mother host.”

We are through with this which might go out to affect, having been blessed by your hands and hearts, the consciousness of those who have ears to hear about this globe.

So let it be.

Awaken The Power of the Inner Christ

There are principally four inner voices used to talk, to communicate one with the other. Now this is noticeable that there is a part of you which speaks with excitement at the possibility of becoming someone of importance, or at the possibility of indulging some great thing. We’ll call this portion for the moment, “the unbridled child-self”. On the other side of the mind which is much, much stronger, there is a parental teacher, a tutor-determined self. They both are parts of you; both parts work in a way of speaking one to the other. And the teaching face of yourself is often, very often in this case, angry and punitive with the little child, who you feel must be held in respect, particularly self-respect.

Now, the other two voices we have mentioned is as if you could see the earth line on which the child and the parent within you stands. Now, draw a crosspiece from Heaven to Hell to complete your diagram, and know that whatever the communication is between the two sides of yourself – the child and parent – what is said can only be taken from one or the other of these two perpendicular selves. We’ve referred to one as Hell. Everything below that line, that is, the line of earth, everything below it, is characterized by fear, punishment, attempts to restrict and hold old blaming memories. Now it is from this triangle, from parent to child, and downward to Hell and back up then, this triangle, is what is called “living in Hell” now at the present.

The great Master said, “You may now, this day, be with me in the Kingdom of God, in the Presence of God. You can at this moment open yourself to Christ Consciousness.”  Now, the difficulty in doing that has been your training in society as you grow. You are taught to strengthen the parent and to dismiss the inner child, which is, for example, the source of the lack of ability of adults to play.

Now, supposing you became aware that this vertical line on the diagram represents the only two sources in the Universe that you can get energy for communication from. All energy in this Universe is basically love and fear. Love being at the top of the diagram and fear in Hell below. Now be aware of a doctrine that is this simple, which says: all of your thoughts, impulses, actions, feelings, come from where your habits dominate the direction of your intention and interest. When every thought is a thought of, “How will I hurt myself today? How will I make a fool of myself? How will I strike others?” All these are fear-based questions. If instead you could begin a day with triangulating a conversation with the Christ – let it be described in this manner: 

Become as aware as you can become from this communication. Be aware of the child within you, a vulnerable child who needs warmth and love, who needs acceptance and even encouragement, and the other side of yourself is a bit dictatorial, parental, a teacher, finding things wrong with the child. Now, for as long as these two sides of yourself don’t love one another, which is the situation that you are in right now, be sure of it, when these two sides of yourself neither love nor trust one another, one hundred per cent of your communication, your inner thought is coming directly from Hell, the lower triangle, which has as its top, Child-self on the left, Adult-self on the right, and Hell below. All thoughts that come from below the earth level are the thoughts of Hell, they are characterized by fear, and in fact, it is fear that controls all actions and thoughts during a period of anxiety. Being one with God, being in harmony with God does not and will not produce anxiety. If there are any energies in and about you which do cause anxiety, then turn your eyes, turn your thoughts to Living Love. Living Love is at once the manifestation of God on Earth, and is at the same time Christ within you. And the method for talking with, communicating with the Christ, even in rather ordinary conversation can occur when you notice that every thought, every thought that you think, that makes yourself less worthwhile as an individual, self-criticism, fears of being around others, all these things are things created in Hell. Bring your thoughts to a point in which you may love yourself, even your body. Love and accept your thoughts and your feelings. Allow yourself to become an extraordinary, attractive person.

Begin to stand tall feeling a love for your own self and communicating an aura of love, vitality, even such as would suggest that you are having fun, enjoying life. Now as you do that, you will encounter hundreds, perhaps thousands of individuals both in your own country and perhaps others who suffer from the anxieties that you held about yourself. We are suggesting that you be so successful in metamorphosis of yourself that you can become an example and a teacher. You will have important experiences to draw upon to assist others through their negative self-image problems. But begin as soon as you begin to feel better, and notice that the changes about yourself, reach out and cause others to move from Hell to Heaven.

Do not be influenced by that which men count as valuable or successful or as an achievement. That person is successful who causes happiness, who causes pleasure and a reflection of the Divine in the lives of those he touches. If there is never the accomplishment by an individual such as the expression of building of a talent or the accumulation of money or a recognisable accomplishment of any kind in life, yet the soul provides happiness and fosters growth spiritually in those about, bringing pleasure into the life of others and ease in communications, then that one has succeeded at the level of the soul.

There are those on your plane who will make a great mark in history and become known, there are those who will develop talents and abilities recognisable to others on your plane, and yet not a shred of evidence of that accomplishment will be found on these records of karma and soul growth.

For it is not that which men recognise as accomplishment that is recorded here, or set down as achievement of a soul. But that one who causes the son or daughter, the husband, the wife, the neighbour to have a little more light, a little more pleasure, love, energy, happiness with which to accomplish his day to day living - that one has lifted himself and the race a little closer to God.

A little child teaches a great lesson of faith

A FLOWING spring that people called the Healing Fount was near Persepolis.
2) And all the people thought that at a certain time of the year their deity came down and gave a virtue to the waters of the fount, and that the sick who then would plunge into the fount and wash would be made whole.
3) About the fount a multitude of people were in waiting for the Holy One to come and potentise the waters of the fount.
4) The blind, the lame, the deaf, the dumb, and those obsessed were there.
5) And Jesus, standing in the midst of them, exclaimed,
Behold the spring of life! These waters that will fail are honored as the special blessing of your God.
6) From whence do healing virtues come? Why is your God so partial with his gifts? Why does he bless this spring today, and then tomorrow take his blessings all away?
7) A deity of power could fill these waters full of healing virtue every day.
8) Hear me, you sick, disconsolate: The virtue of this fount is not a special gift of God.
9) Faith is the healing power of every drop of all the waters of this spring.
10) He who believes with all his heart that he will be made whole by washing in this fount will be made whole when he has washed; and he may wash at any time.
11) Let every one who has this faith in God and in himself plunge in these waters now and wash.
12) And many of the people plunged into the crystal fount; and they were healed.
13) And then there was a rush, for all the people were inspired with faith, and each one strove to be among the first to wash, lest all the virtue be absorbed.
14) And Jesus saw a little child, weak, faint and helpless, sitting all alone beyond the surging crowd; and there was none to help her to the fount.
15) And Jesus said,
My little one, why do you sit and wait? Why not arise and hasten to the fount and wash, and be made well?
16) The child replied,
I need not haste; the blessings of my Father in the sky are measured not in tiny cups; they never fail; their virtues are the same for evermore.
17) When these whose faith is weak and must haste to wash for fear their faith will fail, have all been cured, these waters will be just as powerful for me.
18) Then I can go and stay a long, long time within the blessed waters of the spring.
19) And Jesus said,
Behold a master soul! She came to earth to teach to men the power of faith.
20) And then he lifted up the child and said,
Why wait for anything? The very air we breathe is filled with balm of life. Breathe in this balm of life in faith and be made whole.
21) The child breathed in the balm of life in faith, and she was well.
22) The people marveled much at what they heard and saw; they said, This man must surely be the god of health made flesh.
23) And Jesus said,
The fount of life is not a little pool; it is as wide as are the spaces of the heavens. The waters of the fount are love; the potency is faith, and he who plunges deep into the living springs, in living faith, may wash away his guilt and be made whole, and freed from sin.

THE AWAKENING

Man (Mind) having completed his cycle of evolution, rising on his wings of Inspiration amidst Rays of Light (Knowledge) toward the Supreme Goal, Perfection represented by a Seven-Pointed Star. Man will soon be liberated from the dream of Ignorance and Superstition, Man will awaken to the Realities of Eternal and Boundless Life.
